One Day Men’s Retreat/Security Training

October 28th, Canyons Church, 7000 South 1700 East, Salt Lake City

8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Cost: $25 (Includes light snacks and lunch)

Dress: Casual, athletic attire, tennis shoes

Focus: The Unique responsibilities and calling of a Mighty Man of Valor

Training: Hands on physical control tactics and best practices to neutralize an Active Threat against the Church

Come join us for a time of prayer, worship, and the Word of God, followed by hands on training and applications of concepts and skills to defend the Church against persons and threats, reflecting and focusing upon our Righteous God and His love for His sheep!

The goal of this retreat is to leave you spiritually refreshed and renewed in Jesus Christ, provide you with new ideas to ponder in your spiritual walk with God as well as learning methods to physically defend the Church congregation through proper applications of use of force up to and including deadly force!

Charles Huyck, former DEA Special Agent, former member of the U.S. Armed Forces Reserve (USCG), Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Chief of Basic Training, retired DHS (CGIS) Resident Agent in Charge, Miami, FL, now current Pastor of the Heber Valley Worship (Baptist) Church, Heber City, UT.

Jordan Wagstaff, former U.S. military (USCG), member of Tactical Law Enforcement Teams responsible for conducting counter narcotic and counter piracy operations around the globe, former Police Officer, Austin, TX
